Hello My Friends, I'm writing about how important my Father was to me during my teenage years as well as when I was a young adult. He gave me great advice on being a valuable employee. Always show up for work on time, be a team player. learn everything you can about your job and do your work with a sense of pride. I've work with many young people over the years and I've tried to instill in them that same work ethic that my father instilled in me. Young people today are more interested in playing then working. My Mom says that young people are over indulged. This maybe true but you still have to grow up and part of that growing experience is learning how to financially support yourself and manage money. You don't learn these things at school but from we parents. I'm having a difficult time getting through to my daughter about these things. She only lives in the moment for that moment and has no clue about saving money for a rainy day. To her money was made to be spent. It must be a female thing. When I was my daughter's age I was more interested in making money then spending it.
